SpaceX Crew Dragon launches first commercial crewed mission

The Demo-2 mission carried NASA astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken to the International Space Station aboard SpaceX's Crew Dragon. It was the first crewed orbital launch from U.S. soil since the Shuttle's 2011 retirement and the first ever by a commercial spacecraft.
